ERP SELECTION
We provide advisory and hand on consulting facilitation services to accelerate your decision.
The ERP Selection Process Is Broken
We have participated in countless ERP selection sales cycles. Many of which have led to huge time and costs for the vendors and customer teams, and where the decision at the end of the process was based on whether the vendor was competent and likable. These qualities are important, but we think selection should be done differently.
A Process-Driven Approach to ERP Selection
Our approach is process based and focused on the most valuable and unique business processes. In addition, we support the business case through in depth process improvement analysis and develop your “Rocks” that lay out the opportunity financially. We then challenge your team to develop a rollout strategy that speeds up the time to value, and reduces the risk of impact to your performance.
Fast-Track ERP Vendor Matching Through Speed Dating
We invite mid-size and unknown ERP vendors and facilitate “speed dating” to evaluate capabilities of the software and establish rough budget costs. Some of these vendors are better suited to your vertical than the 8 market leading solutions, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Infor, Workday, Sage, Epicor and IFS.
Full Support for ERP Project Execution and Governance
We assess your capability to execute the project, and make recommendations to how to structure your teams, and that of the Vendor as well as to support the commercial construct and development of the scope of work and project planning process using SoftExpert to manage the project plan, documentation, change management, people task management and budget control.
ERP PROJECT RECOVERY
When ERP Projects Go Off Track, We Step In
Customers and ERP vendors start with the same intentions, but when the project scope starts to change significantly or the number of customisations grows and budgets are not stable, this is the time we can help both parties.
A Neutral Assessment to Prevent Legal Fallout
We adopt a balanced, independent view of the situation and alongside the sponsor and project team, we agree a current state assessment and develop an ideal future state gap plan for review and agreement. Our goal is to mitigate any legal action as this is always a lose /lose situation for both parties.
Structured Recovery Over 12 Weeks
Once the gap plan and corrective action has been established and agreed , a new statement of work , team structure, team capability or restructure of the solution phasing will be presented to the steering group and board (when needed) and the progress monitored over a period of 12 weeks. Adjustments will be made along the way to bring the project back into the circle of stability and predictability.
